Lobos (820)
Coach: Dan Dreger - 2nd season
Returning starters: 4
2024 Record: 11-12
2024 Srs playing at the next level: Kolten Hogzett - Colby Community College
Players to watch: None Committed - Mason Murphy (SR) C, Casey Rummell (SR) RHP, Luke Adams (JR) SS, Parker Vanduyn (JR) 3B

2025 Outlook: The Lobos struggles may have continued in last season but it does seem things are moving in the right direction. Coach Dreger's goal for the team is a winning season and league record and ending the 5 year playoff drought. With an athletic junior class that saw varsity playing time as sophomores and strong senior leadership that's a very attainable goal. The team graduated 5 of their top sticks in the lineup and will look to Casey Rummell, Joey Merrion and Luke Adams to lead the way at the plate. For the offense to reach their potential Coach Dreger will need a few of last years sophomores to mature and contribute immediately. The bright spot could be a veteran pitching staff that returns 3 of their top arms; Brandon Roe, C. Rummell and Mason Murphy. Together the group logged 80+ IP but will need to improve on their performances from 2024.

Eagles(1332)
Coach: Jeff Legault - 29th season
Returning starters: 2
2024 Record: 9-14
2024 Srs playing at the next level: Cade Collins - Wofford, Carson Sauter - Northeastern JC

Players to watch: None Committed - Mitchell Lee (SR) 1B, Sam Wieber (SR) 2B/3B, Braden Johnson (JR) P/1B, Matt Larmore (JR) RHP/SS

2025 Outlook: The Eagles must do some reloading after graduating 13 seniors that included 5 of their top bats but dropping down from 5A to 4A along with returning their entire pitching staff should help the cause. Two-way player Matt Larmore leads the way both at the plate and on the mound. Expect M. Larmore to hit somewhere in the middle of the lineup while also anchoring the pitching staff that includes Braden Johnson, Ethan Molyneaux and JoJo Calderon. Coach Leagualt believes M. Larmore, B. Johnson and E. Molyneaux all will benefit from the experience gained playing varsity as sophomores. There will be plenty of new faces looking to make an impact in Dakota Ridges batting lineup. It 's unknown exactly what the Eagles lineup will look like but expect Mitchell Lee, Sam Wieber, B. Johnson and more to all get an opportunity to prove themselves.

Evergreen HS
Cougars(954)
Coach: John Krane - 2nd season
Returning starters: 6
2024 Record: 13-10
2024 Srs playing at the next level: Ryan Cook - Angelo State University, Theo Beckley - University of Rochester

Players to watch: None Committed - Griffin Gonsman (SR) OF, Cole Laursen (SR) INF/P, Brody March (JR) INF/P

2025 Outlook: The Cougars have made the playoffs 8 years running, including 3 state tourney appearances and expect to continue that trend in 2025. To make that happen they will lean heavily on senior Cole Laursen who led the team in both batting average and ERA last season. C. Laursen finished with the 4th best average and 5th best ERA in Jeffco 4A. On the mound he will be partnered with Brody March who recorded 21 IP but we anticipate an even larger role in 2025. The offense is headlined by C. Laursen but Evergreen will also need strong contributions from Griffin Gonsman, B. March, Colby Levesque, Hudson Schraad, and James Mauro at the plate. G. Gonsman and J. Mauro both received league honors last season.
Golden HS
Demons(1418)
Coach: Jackie McBroom - 10th season
Returning starters: 6
2024 Record: 26-4
2024 Srs playing at the next level: Trey McBroom - Northeastern JC, Braeden McCarroll - South Mtn. JC

Players to watch: Sawyer Brinkman (SR) C/RHP, Luca Casali (SR) OF, Andrew Romero (SR) OF, Jaydon Stroup (SR) INF, Taden Svendsen (SR) LHP - committed to Trinidad State JC, Brody McBroom (JR) INF/RHP, Dylan Paulson (SO) OF

2025 Outlook: The Demons rolled to a 4th straight league championship and 3rd straight state tourney but still fell short of their ultimate goal of a state championship. How do they follow up a 2024 loss in the final 4; by reloading rather than rebuilding. A pitching staff that posted a 1.60 team ERA last season features 2024 Jeffco League MVP and 1st Team All-State selection Sawyer Brinkman, 53 IP 0.80 ERA 7 Wins 85 K's in 53 IP. Brinkman and Jeffco Preseason MVP Taden Svendsen make up one of the strongest 1-2 punches in 4A that also includes Tyler Sherrill and a host of other strong arms on the bump. Golden will be strong on the mound but the offensive attack this season could be just as lethal. They return Luca Casali, Jaydon Stroup, Dylan Paulson, Brody McBroom and add Andrew Romero, Romero missed the entire 2024 season due to an ACL injury. L. Casali ended up being one of the top hitters in the state in 2024 finishing in the top 10 in HR's, RBI's and Slugging % while also hitting over .400. Insert matured part-time players from last year and some talented underclassmen and this could be the deepest lineup the Demons have seen in a program that has 82 wins over the past 4 seasons.
Green Mtn. HS
Rams (1084)
Coach: Cory Miller - 3rd season

Returning starters: 6
2024 Record: 17-7
2024 Srs playing at the next level: Craig Busse - Ozarks College

Players to watch: Hudson Burke (SR) OF/1B/P, Simon Lunsford (SR) RHP - committed to Mesa State University, Demetrius Padilla (SR) SS/RHP, DJ Villalovas (SR) C

2025 Outlook: The Rams had an outstanding 2024 season, finishing with 17 total wins, 3rd in Jeffco 4A and a 3rd straight playoff appearance. However, a playoff run has been elusive in each of those seasons. Coach Miller thinks this could be the year to change all that. However, for that to happen they need to get it done behind the hard throwing right arm of Simon Lunsford and a strong defense. S. Lunsford was dominant on the mound a year ago with 40 IP, 60 K's and an ERA of 2.60. Demetrius Padilla logged 28 IP in 2024 and will be asked to fill the # 2 spot in the rotation. Offensively, Green Mountain returns DJ Villalovas, Hudson Burke and D. Padilla. D. Villalovas led the team in AVG., 2B's, slugging % and OB% last season. As explosive as the Rams bats were last season they need younger inexperienced players like DD Lopez to step up for a repeat of last years offensive production.
Littleton HS
Lions (1122)
Coach: Josh Bird - 2nd season
Returning starters: 6
2024 Record: 7-16
2024 Srs playing at the next level: None

Players to watch: None Committed - Vincent Beckett (SR) OF, Peyton Brooks (SR) OF/P, Lucas Calonder (SR) 3B/P, Evan Siler (SR) OF/P, Thomas Kusner (SO) 2B, P

2025 Outlook: The Lions bring back a ton of experience with a team goal of being a contender and believe they can compete for a league title and qualify for post season play in 2025. Littleton returns 11 varsity players led by 2-time All-Jeffco player Peyton Brooks, Honorable Mention OF/P Lucas Calonder and OF Vincent Beckett. The return of Wyatt Alexander, who missed the 23-24 season due to injury and transfer Mario Flores will give the team a big lift with both communication on the field and some pop at the plate. Sprinkle in pitchers Evan Siler and Eli Jacobs, SS Steve Dominquez and underclassmen Thomas Kusner to improve defensively and on the mound and Coach Bird is confident this brand of baseball equals success in 2025.
Pomona HS
Panthers (1223)
Coach: Jarren Donato - 1st season
Returning starters: 7
2024 Record: 5-18
2024 Srs playing at the next level: Dalton Hanson - Scottsdale JC

Players to watch: Brodie Saggau (SR) C - committed to Lake Region State JC, Spencer Werner (SR) SS - committed to Lake Region State JC, Jacob Shepherd (SR) RHP - committed to Lake Region State JC, Logan Olerich (SR) RHP - committed to Redlands JC, Brycen Hanners (SR) 1B - committed to Great Bay JC, Brayden Nobles (SR) DH - committed to Great Bay JC

2025 Outlook: The Panthers were young last season and their struggles continued as they just won 5 games overall and 1 league game. The good news for 1st year Coach Donato is he returns 7 starters and almost his entire pitching staff so there is plenty of experience which should result in more success on the field. Brycen Hanners led the offense last year and is expected to do the same again this season. He looks for offensive support from DH Brayden Nobles and also Damani Chavez and Riley Biesk who both showed promise as underclassmen. On the bump expect Jacob Shepherd and Logan Olerich to anchor the rotation with support from Tyler Dempsey, Brayden Richards and Spencer Werner out of the bullpen. Mix in solid defense and leadership from catcher Brodie Saggau and SS S. Werner and this years Panthers should be an improved version from last season.
Standley Lake HS
Gators(1182)
Coach: Ford Eberlein - 1st season
Returning starters: 7
2024 Record: 11-11
2024 Srs playing at the next level: Brody Geist - Indian Hills JC

Players to watch: None Committed - Chris Blanco (SR) RHP/INF, Titus Schrecengost (SO) SS

2025 Outlook: The Gators will be under new leadership with Coach Ford Eberlein taking over in 2025. Eberlein spent the last 3 years at Ralston Valley as an assistant and now inherits a team that has had 3 head coaches in the last 3 years. Standley Lake returns 2 of their top 3 arms from 2024; Chris Blanco and Angelo Basile who both logged over 20 IP averaging over 1 K per inning and provide a solid 1-2 punch on the mound. The Gators lost some fire power offensively to graduation but Coach Eberlein is expecting big things from speedy Titus Schrecengost who hit over .300 with 13 SBs as a Sophomore. Eberlein is confident this team will have success in 2025 but for that to happen experienced upperclassmen and a young core of talented underclassmen will need to find their identity early under their new leadership.
Wheat Ridge HS
Farmers(972)
Coach: Jason Berger- 2nd season

Returning starters: 9
2024 Record: 0-22
2024 Srs playing at the next level: None

Players to watch: None Committed - Nathan Trione (JR) SS/P/UT

2025 Outlook: After winning just 7 games over the last 3 seasons , the Farmers look to turn things around in Coach Bergers 2nd season at the helm. Berger intends to do that by building on last years positives and strengthening the culture. A large amount of varsity players return which is expected to help navigate the ups and downs of the season. The offense is headlined by junior Nathan Trione but they will also lean on senior Anthony Torrez. On the mound, Wheat Ridge welcomes back the majority of their pitching staff with Henry DeKnikker and N. Trione scheduled to be the teams top 2 pitchers. However, for the Farmers to achieve their goals in 2025 many other returners and new varsity players will need to elevate their game to the next level.

D'evelyn HS
Jaguars(597)
Coach: Dan Porreco - 30th season

Returning starters: 8
2024 Record: 8-15
2024 Srs playing at the next level: Russell Balcer - Kansas Wesleyan University, Kia Strasser - Colorado Northwestern JC

Players to watch: None Committed - Jay Aurich (SR) P, Ryan Kim (SR) P, Thomas Sweetman (SR) 1B/P, Kevyn Feldon (JR) INF, Jack Meiser (JR) OF, Darian Valdez (JR) OF/P

2025 Outlook: D'evelyn looks to get back on track this season after missing the playoffs for the first time in 5 years. Lots of experienced players are back and healthy from an injury prone 2024 squad. At least 4 guys should contribute on the mound from a pitching staff that recorded a 3.25 ERA and held teams to under 10 XBHs a year ago. Jay Aurich was the ace in 2024 and is back, finishing with 4 wins and a 2.68 ERA. Darian Valdez, Jack Meiser and Ryan Kim, back from TJ, will fill out the rest of the D'Evelyn staff and are no slouches themselves. Thomas Sweetman is the teams top returning bat after hitting .328 with 2 HR and 9 SB as a junior but for this team to have success they will need more than just T. Sweetman. With 30 years of experience, Coach Porreco beleives this team can compete for a league title. For that to happen J. Mesier, Kevyn Feldon, Joaquin Basquez, also returning from an injury, along with a talented freshman class will all need to play major roles in 2025.
